Review of Kent septuplet group Silent Descent’s Red Bull performance on April 19th. (I don’t know where the cake metaphor keeps coming from…)

This is a collection of images that I’ve taken at hardcore punk/ metal gigs in London over the last 5 months. I hope, through my photos, to provide an insight into hardcore gigs are like and what makes them so unique and fun.

All the pictures apart from two are taken in black and white, and most are without flash, all using a canon 500d.

I have loved both music and Photography for many years, but it was only through breaking my foot skateboarding last year that I took time to reasses what I wanted to do with my life. I decided that I wanted to mix the 2 and start shooting bands and musicians. Here are some sample from the last couple of months.
