I was lucky enough to be given media accreditation as a student to the X fighters in London, here are a few photos from my time at the event. It was an amazing experience and I hope to be able to photograph more events like this.

These are shots I got at the Red Bull X-Fighters in London 2010. I have submitted the images in a low resolution, but would be more than happy to submit more and in a higher res. if required. I’m seriously interested in the Cobble Wobble, sounds awesome, and any other exciting Red Bull events.

I’m interested in London as the centre of visual culture, during Notting Hill Carnival. I try to get closer to people’s different expressions and states of mind without losing the multilayered aspect of the event. I’m also fascinated by the contrast between the essence of the Carnival and some psycho geographical elements of the Notting Hill area.

A little piece on the IPL

I wanted to film with Oliver Kurbas for quite some time and I can say that it was a blast. We filmed at some unique spots, where others usually don’t ride much and seeing Oliver doing what he likes is just gnar.

Last year Nottinghill Carnival weekend i was invited to an official press launch and Poison UK Concert where i was able to catch up with the Fay-Ann Lyons (Genre: Soca) She came over to perform along with many other artists from the Caribbean.

I’m the News Editor (ex-New Bands Editor) for Cardiff based online fanzine God Is In The TV. I’ve also written for BBC Ceefax, Never Enough Notes & Stereokill. I absolutely idolise Major Lazer (Diplo, particularly) and am really enjoying what I’ve heard so far of Toddla T. I am so up for this, it’s obscene. Here’s a sample live review of Phoenix & Two Door Cinema Club at The Roundhouse.

Red Bull X-Fighters at London Battersea power station went off! I went there, had an awesome time, filmed a couple links and knocked this quick edit together. Excuse the sound quality on the links – the mic was not loving it.
